Cozy Bedroom Ideas
Your bedroom is so important.
It’s where you start and end your day.
Like most women, and some men, we really want to make sure our bedrooms really match how we imagine it to be.
The older I’m getting the more I pay attention and edit what is around me. This includes my bedroom. It is something that I am aware of and really do try my hardest to keep it looking as relaxing and cozy.
I have curated a list of the top bedrooms that I use as inspiration for when I need to make my bedroom more cozy.
Accent Pillows – My Favorite – Florals

The accent pillow along with the different layers of pillows (and different shares) add so much to the cozy appeal!
The feminine touch of the curtains and the different heights of flowers, Clock, pillows, everything really just makes everything come together,
What I really notice is the lack of clutter

If you’re not big on color, I absolutely adore the hint of darker floral.
When I look at that bed, it’s so tempting to want to jump in and cuddle! The pillows really add to the comfort!
The neutral colors in this bedroom really add to the tranquility. Such a beautifully made bed!

I genuinely am crazy for florals.
It can really lighten up a space and make it very classic without trying too hard and for spring time, it’s just perfect.
The splash of color next to the neutral whites or light pinks just adds a softness that exudes cozy.
Again the layering of the pillows here is done so well.
Very cozy in an effortless kind of way.
Natural Details
My favorite way of making a bedroom more cozy (more than floral pillows) is to bring the outdoors inside.
I feel that it really helps to bring a calmness into the room. It’s simple and understated and always classic.

One way to take this picture as inspiration is to see that the colors are broken down into only a few. We have orange or rust with white and creams and some green from the plants.
It’s not overstimulating.
The wood headboard is a nice touch and love how it ties a more rugged natural look with the softness of everything else around.

Not only do plants help to make the air cleaner in your bedroom, but it helps to make the room more cozy.
I realize not everyone likes plants, let alone the responsibility of taking care of them. Which honestly, it seems that I kill most of my plants. But even though I struggle keeping plants indoors, I always keep trying,
If you want to add more elegance and cozy feels into your room, try adding some fresh plants.
Fresh flowers are always a good idea, but because they wilt and die within a few days, most of us don’t spend enough time in our bedrooms to appreciate their beauty, I tend to stick to potted plants.
But if you can afford or pick fresh flowers often, I would add a beautiful vase of flowers or fresh herbs or even leaves.

Look at that headboard.
So simple.
If taking a sigh of relief was a picture, this would be it.
The reason why I think this is so cozy and elegant is because of the plays of texture. The natural wood with the padded headboard and chunky knits.
It’s so fun to play and experiment with what you have. If you have something similar with the fabrics, try incorporating some natural textures.
A wooden frame, chair or stool. Maybe add some flowers in a vase. A potted rosemary plant. It can change throughout the season, you can even try whatever moves you.
Minimally Cozy
The minimalist look is always a good start, especially when you’re not quite sure what you like. Or if you can’t find anything that you want or you don’t want to spend too much money all at once.
Start with a blank canvas and begin to add pieces. But always keep in mind to make it more understated.

The simplicity of this room is very tranquil but still has everything one needs. I personally feel that the room needs a bit more, for example on the nightstands, but the main focus is on the comfortable bed which is really nice.

The built-in shelving is a wonderful touch especially with the soft headboard. It has great contrasting,

Regal Cozy
I am always one for the regal look. I’m not sure if it’s the right wording, but I love the attention to details. Even if they seem to be too much – that’s kind of the point.

With the splash of accented wall paper and the cushioned headboard and the chandelier lamps, I think it is so cozy and warm. The floor to ceiling curtains are always a good idea too. It adds length to the room and adds texture to the walls.

The touch of gold and textured wallpaper add a lot of beauty in a simple way. It really is quite a beautiful combination of colors.
Chic Inspired Cozy

Adding the unique lighting with the soft fabric over the bed is a great way to make it interesting and feminine at the same time. Again, I love the headboard.

The pillows are great accents again, also with the rustic charm, it’s simply beautiful.
Extras in the Room

I’ve always wanted a vanity in my bedroom for a [lace to do my makeup and hair. Sadly, I do not have the room, but if I did – it would be one of the first purchases I would make. It keeps the bathroom clear for others to use it but also if you’re able to sit down and enjoy the process of preparing yourself for the day it is truly lovely.

The little lights add such a magical ambience to the room, especially at night. I am a big fan of the soft lighting. I find that the lighting that is overhead can be a little harsh.

If your room permits it, I would add a chair or a little nook for reading. As nce as it is to read in bed – sometimes during the day or in the morning it can signal to your body to go to bed. Not exactly what you want to do during the day. The only rule is that it cannot become a hanger for your clothes! It must always be kept clean and free of clutter.
