This site is perfect for anyone who yearns to find moments of beauty in the everyday, refine their habits to enhance simplicity and sophistication, and foster a life defined by intentionality and grace.

It happened many years before I started this site in 2017. I was always intriqued by my Nana who embodied elegance.

She had this air about her that when I was younger didn’t know that it was elegance. However, in my early 20s is when I started to study her ways.

I was drawn to her grace and charm of timeless style, her self care routine, and the little rituals that add refinement to her everyday moments.

I created Elegant Living Everyday to share with women who, like me, cherish the art of being different in today’s modern culture. It’s effortless and a beauty that goes beyond just the physical looks.

Shortly after I started this site, she passed away and I felt the need to continue sharing her secrets to keep her legacy alive.

I’m so happy that you’re here! Deciding to embrace your femininity and make every little moment beautiful is a change that you won’t regret. I know I didn’t!

It begins with the smallest of steps. Just like any change in your life.

First I would say to browse this site for posts that you’re interested in. I know some women love to learn about clothing, others are wanting to improve their attitude, or maybe they want to brush up on their manners. Eventually, elegance will be incorporated in all aspects of your life – but start with one or two and grow from there.

Ask yourself “what elegance means to you“. Maybe it’s in the way you present yourself, the confidence you exude, or the graceful way you handle life’s moments. Get a little notebook and jot everything down.

I know some women here have different ideas of what elegance looks like. That’s what you first need to establish so you are able to work towards that goal.

Focus on timeless habits like dressing in a way that feels polished and true to yourself, speaking with kindness, and practicing good posture. You might not struggle with your wardrobe but maybe your home could do with a bit more work…

Elegance isn’t about perfection but intention, so don’t be afraid to take things slowly. This is what I Learned because when I tried to do a 180 overhaul, I ended up overwhelmed and failed. Then the guilt came and then I wanted to quit.

True elegance comes from within.
